U.S. Paralympic Soccer Team Loses to Argentina 3-1 in Pan-Am Soccer Championship

SANTIAGO, Chile (Sept. 24, 2002) - The U.S. Paralympic Soccer Team was defeated by a stronger Argentinean team 3-1 at the CP-ISRA Pan American Soccer Championship in Santiago, Chile on Tuesday. The tournament began Sept. 19 and will continue until Sept. 29 where the winner will earn an automatic berth in the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens, Greece.
