U.S. Men's National Team Gets Three Points Closer to South Africa with 2-1 Defeat of El Salvador

The U.S. Men scored twice in the final minutes of the first half to earn a 2-1 victory against El Salvador at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. The U.S. received goals from Clint Dempsey, and a stoppage-time game-winner by Jozy Altidore. The U.S. next faces Trinidad & Tobago on Wednesday, Sept. 9 in Port of Spain.
