The United States Under-17 Men lost to a talented French side, 5-3, on Sunday night at the Dwight Yorke Stadium in Bacolet, Tobago in the 2001 FIFA U-17 World Championship. Combined with an opening 1-0 loss to Japan on Friday (Sept. 14), the U.S. drops to 0-2 in the tournament and cannot advance to the tournament quarterfinals.
