Santino Quaranta Called in to Replace Eddie Johnson

U.S. Manager Bruce Arena has handed Santino Quaranta his first callup to senior national team, adding the D.C. United forward to the Gold Cup roster in place of the injured Eddie Johnson. Quaranta started two of three matches in the USA's run in the 2001 U-17 World Championship in Trinidad & Tobago. He is credited with two goals and two assists in ten matches for the defending MLS Cup champions this year.
