U.S. Under-17 Women Defeat Australia at Future Stars Tournament in New Zealand

AUCKLAND, New Zealand (January 29, 2008) - Sisters Kristen and Samantha Mewis combined for four goals and two assists while forward Vicki DiMartino added a goal and two assists as the U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team began a year it hopes will end at the 2007 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup with a 6-0 win over Australia at the Future Stars Tournament in New Zealand.
