U.S. Soccer Public Statement (Women's Professional League)

CHICAGO (Tuesday, February 15, 2000) - The U.S. Soccer Federation confirmed today the receipt of a petition for membership from the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) for acceptance as a sanctioned Division I women's professional soccer league in the United States.
