For most of the players on the U.S. Men's National Team, traveling is no big deal. A lot (especially some of the veterans) have zig-zagged the world for years, so its rare they go to a new place. When they arrive in U.S. cities like Nashville or Washington, D.C., it may be their first time there with the MNT, but it's not necessarily their first time in the city or state.
Terrence Boyd, on the other hand, is seeing many American cities for the first time during his travels with the National Team… and he's loving it!
The young forward holds dual citizenship in Germany and the U.S. but has spent most of his life living in Germany. His trip to Nashville in March with the U-23 MNT was his first visit to Music City, and he's experiencing another "first" this week in the nation's capital.
The guys went on a team walk their first morning in D.C. and Terrence was ecstatic, to say the least. We can't wait to see how excited he is today when the team actually gets to go inside the White House for a tour.
The photo of Terrence in front of the White House is pretty priceless, but the video is even better - and you'll be able to see some of it in Episode 3 of Behind the Crest, which is coming soon!
