Quite a contrast in weather for the USA today from the first week of training. After six days of searing heat, the skies opened this morning and dumped a whole lotta rain on Kennesaw, Ga. The U.S. team practiced in some heavy rain, on a water-logged field, but still got some good work in over the 75 minutes. The team has another training this afternoon, but it might have to be on artificial turf as the rain has pretty much held steady the entire day. Silver lining: temps are much cooler. Bronze lining: the ball doesn't go very far when kicked through puddles.
