Great to see you too, Wolfsburg!
The U.S. team traveled north from Heidelberg to Wolfsburg on July 3, flying into Hannover and boarded an bus for an hour drive to the team hotel. The squad arrived in rainy weather, but got a grand welcome featuring a marching band and cheerleaders, as well as a sign feature the head shots of the entire team and all the coaches. The weather is supposed to be cool and wet for the next few days, and the U.S. hotel is a bit isolated, so the players will get plenty of rest and the chance to focus on the huge match against Sweden on Wednesday at the beautiful 26,000-seat Women’s World Cup stadium here in Wolfsburg.
Aforementioned Awesome Headshot Board!
