The U.S. team in front of a large piece of the old church that was completely destroyed in WWII. The "new" church is behind them
On the night before the eve of the USA's U-20 Women's World Cup opener, the team got out of the hotel for a nice evening stroll (still a humid 80 degrees at night) to get some ice cream and show their musical talents. That's right, the squad broke into four groups and each had to perform an original song, written by themselves. As this is a U.S. WNT, the players asked the staff who had "won" the competition. But you can't judge art, right? It's in the eye (or ears) of the beholder. Let's just say that there are some excellent lyricists on the team, and some great voices, but some won't be getting record deals anytime soon. The team's performances were in the middle of a public square at the city center, so they drew a bit of a crowd, but no Euros were thrown into a hat after they were done.
This group had the best choreography
That's Teresa Noyola on the guitar. She's good...
This group...sort of...rapped
Crystal Dunn and the Dunnettes brought it home in style
