The U.S. U-20 WNT rebounded from a 1-1 draw with Ghana in its 2010 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup opener with a rousing 5-0 victory over Switzerland today. The win puts the USA in good position to qualify for the quarterfinals heading into the July 21 meeting with South Korea in Bielefeld. The U.S. team will travel to Bielefeld during the morning of July 18 and have two fulls days of rest before taking on the Koreans, who have scored four goals in each of their wins over the Swiss (4-0) and Ghana (4-2). The match was played in front of a crowd of 17,234 fans, the second largest crowd of the tournament after the 23,995 that watched host Germany's opening day win over Costa Rica. The USA delighted the crowd with five great goals, three from Sydney Leroux, and now head to Bielefeld to face the Koreans with a win clinching the group title and a tie good enough to earn a berth to the quarterfinals.
