Former Development Academy midfielder Darlington Nagbe (Internationals SC) continued his stellar play in his third MLS season. Nagbe scored a 67th-minute goal to lead the Portland Timbers to a 2-1 road victory against Seattle Sounders FC in the first leg of their Western Conference semifinal on Saturday at CenturyLink Field. His tally gave the MLS playoff newcomer Portland a 2-0 advantage, and the series resumes Thursday at JELD-WEN Field.
