The U.S. U-20 MNT wrapped up a training camp in Kennesaw, Ga., yesterday that included a pair of international friendlies against Colombia and Mexico as part of the Torneo de las Americas. Thomas Rongen's side, which included a blend of fresh faces and U-20 veterans, emerged with a pair of 1-1 draws.
In his first cap for the U.S., Alex Zahavi - who has previously played for the Portugese youth national teams - netted against Colombia on Friday night. Defender Gale Agbossoumonde scored the game-tying goal in the second half of the game against Mexico after pushing into the box for a corner kick. Goalkeeper Jonathan Kempin made his first two appearances under Rongen, and we would be remiss to not include this great photo of a save against Mexico from Sunday.
