Morgan Andrews finds an open player in the USA's ball-possession drill
The U.S. U-17 WNT held its final on-field session before the semifinal today and the energy was great as the team ran through a lighter but intense practice that featured a warm-up, some 5 v. 2, a larger possession game and then some small-sided scrimmaging on big goals.
The players are a bit on edge for the match that could send them to the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, but also excited and confident and ready to play.
You can watch the match vs. Panama on May 10 at 3:30 p.m. ET on CONCACAF.com. The 1:30 p.m. local kickoff will be the earliest for the USA so far in this tournament and it should be hot on the turf for the game, but the Americans are ready to play 90 minutes and behind if necessary.
