No one can say that the U.S. team is not doing its part to spread the joy of soccer around the world. The U.S. team held its second clinic while in Germany for some local girls after training today and it seemed that fun was had by all. The girls were a bit older than the ones in Munich, and there were several players from the local Turkish community, but by the laughter and giggling, it seemed that both the U.S. team and the locals enjoyed themselves quite a bit despite the cold (mid-40s!). The U.S. team trained twice today, going for 75 minutes in the morning and an hour in the evening before the clinic. The team will hold its final practice in Germany tomorrow morning, but it won't be at Impuls Arena. The venue is hosting a German Cup match tonight and therefore the groundskeepers need tomorrow to get the field in top shape for Thursday night's match.
