The warm-up for yesterday's morning training featured mini-balls as the players ran through an array of skills. The squad was divided in half for the morning training with the forwards and flank midfielders going first while the others lifted weights back at the hotel and then the defenders and center midfielders came out to the field. Both groups seemed to enjoy their mini-ball workouts. You know what they say...variety is the spice of training. Or something like that.
The U.S. attackers had a great finishing workout as well, although Amy Rodriguez (below) stuck this one right into the gut of Hope Solo.
