Kristine Lilly hasn't played in a game for the USA since December of 2008, just a few months after she had her first child (daughter Sidney) but today was her 3,747th practice for the United States Women's National Team. Ok, we made that up, but it's probably close. In any event, the world's all-time cap leader with 342 (almost 70 more than Mia Hamm, the second most capped player in world history) returned to the training field today and will be attempting to make the 18-player roster for the match against Mexico on March 28 at Torero Stadium on the campus of USD (2 p.m. PT live on FSC and FSE) in search of cap 343. She certainly doesn't look 38, or play like it, and is likely either hated or worshipped by every 38-year-old mom out there! Probably both.
