Even though the U.S. U-17 Women's National Team players get to travel to exotic locales, play in cool stadiums, represent their country on the international stage and get loads of free Nike gear, that doesn't mean they are exempt from homework. In fact, just the opposite. The U.S. players have to work extra hard to just keep up in school due to missed class time. This morning the players had one of their numerous mandatory study halls. You could just feel the GPAs rising in the room.
