Xie Xie China...
It's official, the U.S. Women's National Team trained in China for 11 days without the sun coming out once. Still, not too bad a day for the WNT today with a fun training that included some spirited small-sided games and the "hat trick" game, where one player takes a shot from outside the box, the second player plays a one-two with that player who shot first, and takes a shot from outside the box, and then both players go into the box for a cross. It's not to so common for the players get that hat trick (our GKS are quite good, which means plenty ones, quite a few twos but not a lot of threes), but Christie Rampone converted one today with a near post header. The USA was in good spirits after the win over (Canada) and signed some autographs for Chinese fans on the way to the bus, which it seems they have done after every training in China. The U.S. is training at one of the many colleges in Chongqing and have been quite the attraction for students, even though they are on their winter break.
