Claudio Reyna has some final words on the field yesterday
Training is done and all there's one thing left to do at this U-23 Men's National Team Camp in Germany: play.
Today two U.S. teams will make the one hour bus trip to Leverkusen to face Bayer Leverkusen's U-23s/Reserves and U-19 team. Again the U.S. team will be split into roughly a U-23 squad and a U-20 squad, though because of the numbers that split isn't exactly even.
Those games are a nice way to finish up nine days of training, which wrapped up yesterday after a solid two hour session. The U-23s have come through their first together, put in long work on the field while building team chemistry off it. Now it's time to finish the camp on a good note!
The YNT Blog will be making the trip to Leverkusen as well, and the best way/only way to track the games will be at Twitter by following @ussoccer_ynt. The U-23's kick off at 8:30 a.m. ET with the U-20s (and some U-23s) following at 11 a.m. ET. Of course that's one hour before the U.S. MNT take on Slovenia but what better way to tune up for the game?
