The U.S. WNT held its pre-game training for an hour today at Yurtec Stadium and it rained -- pretty hard -- for almost the entire session. That was the first real rain for the U.S. team has experienced in Sendai and there is a 40% chance of rain at kickoff tomorrow, which will be 7:30 p.m. local / 6:30 a.m. ET.

Following training, the U.S. team had lunch in downtown Sendai today, and we must say the players have become pretty adept at finding and ordering good food in Japan, although a few opted today for more American fare.
The U.S. team will have a whirlwind next few days. Evening match against Japan on April 1. Travel to Chiba on April 2. Play Brazil on April 3 at 8 p.m. local time. Head back home on April 4. But such is the life of an international soccer player and they wouldn't have it any other way.
