The U.S. U-20 WNT on its way to Sendai, Japan in the Miyagi prefecture
The U.S. U-20 WNT said goodbye to Hiroshima this morning and traveled to Sendai to set up camp to prepare for its Group D finale against Germany on Aug. 27 at Miyagi Stadium.

The travel day couldn't have been smoother and once again Japan proved that when it comes to organization, no country is better. The team departed the hotel at 9:45 a.m., had an easy transition at the airport and the nonto the charter flight (which the squad shared with the Germans). Upon arrival, a bus was waiting to take the team to the terminal, where the bags came out almost as the team walked up to the carosel, then the bus was waiting to wisk the team to its hotel.
The squad arrived in plenty of time to get settled and each a late lunch before hitting the training field in the afternoon. The starters against China just had a short jog and a really nice stretch while the reserves played a pretty intense serious of four-v-four games.

The Americans had been based in Hiroshima since Aug. 12 and we must give a huge thanks to the wonderful hosts in Hiroshima as the team was treated royally in every way and everywhere they went.
But now all focus is on the Germany game which will determine the USA's quarterfinal fate. The USA will have a light day on Aug. 25, and will go check out the massive Miyagi Stadium, and then return to the pitch on Aug. 26 to make last preparations for the final group match.
