For some reason, U.S. WNT defender Heather Mitts really likes jumping out from behind things and scaring her teammates. And we mean, she REALLY likes doing it. No one is safe. Not players, coaches, staff members, or sometimes by accident, hotel workers. And truth be told, what's not to like? It's tons of fun and works every time, and when you've got a lot of downtime on WNT trips, you have to do something to pass the time, right? Mitts will jump out of closets, from behind doors, beds or anything else she can hide her 5-foot-4 frame behind. And when she saw Mexican wrestling masks for sale on the street here in Cancun, she couldn't resist as it of course would add to the "startle" factor for pranking on teammates. Beware of a defenders wearing masks!
After soccer, Heather Mitts might have a career in pro wrestling. We think she would be a villain!
