With cool temperatures in a secluded setting outside Cleveland, the U.S. Men's National Team kicked off the summer schedule with a light training session Sunday night. A total of 14 players arrived in time for the hour-long session, with Clarence Goodson and Jermaine Jones going straight from the airport to the training site. A long warmup preceded a 6 v. 3 possession game, and then it was time to get out the big goals. Tim Howard, Brad Guzan and Sean Johnson are all in camp and rotated through.
The rest of the MLS contingent plus Terrence Boyd link up with the group this afternoon, where the team will get its first look at FirstEnergy Stadium. Spirits are high and we're off and running.
