Maya Hayes and Adrianna Franch are ready for the travel day
The U.S. U-20 WNT left Dresden, its home since July 8, this morning and traveled to Bielefeld. The trip moves the USA from eastern Germany to western Germany in preparation for the final Group D match against South Korea on July 21. The U.S. team took a charter flight with the other Group D teams that landed almost equidistant between Bielefeld and Bochum, where Ghana will take on Switzerland and then the teams boarded busses for their respective venues. No training on the field for the USA today, just a 30-minute run for the players who didn't play (or play much) yesterday and a pool regeneration/ice baths for everyone. The USA will have two days of training on the field before taking on the Koreans.
