Greg Garza will become the second U.S. player to join Club Tijuana for the 2012 season
U.S. Under-23 Men's National Team defender Greg Garza is set to join Mexican Primera team Club Tijuana on a free transfer after impressing the coaches during a pre-season trial.
The 20-year-old was a member of the Under-17 Residency program for two semesters and was a part of the Under-20 team that reached the quarterfinals in the 2011 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. He has most recently been called into the Under-23 camp in Duisberg, Germany, in November.
Garza will fellow Americans Joe Corona and Edgar Castillo, who signed for Tijuana at the end of November, at the club.
