Carlos headed home the game-winning goal for Rangers
Several U.S. internationals put their name on the scoresheet this past weekend, some contributing to important results.
In Scotland, Carlos Bocanegra got his first goal for Rangers, the U.S. captain netting what turned out to be the game-winner with a trademark header. Maurice Edu added a cracker of his own to help lift Rangers to a 4-0 at Dunfermline and keep them four points ahead of Celtic at the top of the table. (WATCH HERE).
Heading south to Italy, Michael Bradley punctuated his second straight start for Chievo with an assist on the team's first goal in the 2-1 win against Genoa. He also sprayed the ball out wide that led to Chievo's second and decisive goal.
And south of the border, 2010 FIFA World Cup veteran Herculez Gomez scored the lone goal for Estudiantes in the 2-1 loss to Pumas.
