It's been a long tournament for the U.S. U-17s with a lot of games mashed into a short period of time, so today the team got the rest. No training, no meetings, no film. They did of course do their standard regeneration routine in preparation for the championship game tomorrow against Canada (6:30 p.m. ET on CONCACAF.com) so hopefully the players will have some rested legs. Tomorrow, the squad will get their scouting report and the starting lineup for the game that doesn't kick off until 4:30 p.m. local. Prior to that match, Mexico and Canada will play-off in the tournament's third-place match for the third and final CONCACAF berth to the U-17 Women's World Cup.
So with nothing to do but rest this afternoon (and do homework), the players got to spend about an hour at a local arts and crafts market and suffice it to say that the U.S. team did their small part for the GDP of Guatemala. See above and below...
