While the U.S. supporters at the game last night made up a miniscule percentage of the fans, we gotta hand to to this hardy group who were cordoned off from the 46,000 or so frenzied, blue and white clad Hondurans with...yellow plastic hazard tape?
As a barricade, we've seen better, but truth be told, the Hondurans were amongst the kindest and most respectful fans we've ever encountered at an away qualifier. Still, if you are a U.S. fan that traveled to this match, and then were put up on a far corner of the stadium behind yellow tape, then saw one of the most amazing games in U.S. World Cup qualifying history, every moment had to be worth it. Well done fans. See you on Wednesday at RFK.
