WNT Mar 30, 2012
It seemed the spring finally hit Sendai today as the sun came out and the temps warmed up, so much so that the many of the U.S. players had to peel off the layers during training. Perhaps some of the snow on the ground here in northern Japan even melted?
The U.S. team will train inside Yurtec Stadium tomorrow, getting its first look at the game pitch that will host the match on April 1.
There will surely be a large contingent of Japanese media on hand for the match, many of whom know the U.S. players extremely well. They know backgrounds, their history and their strengths as players. Japanese media seem to be good at research. After several days in Japan, we would go as far as to say that the country in which the U.S. WNT is most popular -- besides the USA -- is Japan.
Remember, you can watch the match live on ESPN2 and ESPN3.com, as well as follow long on ussoccer.com's MatchTracker and via Twitter @ussoccer_wnt at 6:30 a.m. ET.
If you are anywhere outside of the Eastern time zone of the USA and watch this game live = respect.
