WNT Mar 22, 2011
After a brief break, it's time to get geared up again for the WNT, as Carli Lloyd displays here before the first training in England
The U.S. Women's National Team arrived in England today on two seperate flights, one from New York and one from California. The New Yorkers got in earlier and were slated to train in the afternoon, but the Californians got in earlier than expected, and were able to get settled, eat and get geared up in time to attend the 4:30 p.m. training, although most of the West Coasters just jogged and stretched. Tomorrow, the whole team will have a morning training together before an afternoon excursion to London. The team is staying a bit outside of the city and suffice it to say there were a lot of rolling hills, trees and cows on the way from Heathrow to the hotel.
