The Houston Dynamo have signed a pair of Academy products - Alex Dixon and Josue Soto - as the club's third and fourth Homegrown Players to professional contracts on Wednesday.
Soto, a 22-year-old senior at Southern Methodist, became the first player to sign a Homegrown contract after completing his college eligibility. The left-footer was one of the first players to join the Dynamo Academy in 2007.
Dixon, who was part of the U.S. U-17 MNT Residency Program for three semesters, joined the Dynamo Academy in late 2007 and then spent three years at the University of North Carolina. He'll turn 21 in February.
