As the weather starts to turn in parts of the country, no better excuse to park on front of the telly and watch the MNT in action this weekend. Here's a primer on the schedule (all times ET):
Brad Guzan hopes to keep his starting spot at Aston Villa this Saturday when they face Norwich City FOX Soccer, 7:30 am). Oguchi Onyewu saw his first minutes with Malaga during Champions League this week, and they resume league play sitting in third place as they meet Espanyol (BeIN SPORT, 9:55 a.m.). Jermaine Jones and Schalke 04 also hold third place in their league, and coming off a massive 2-0 win at Arsenal they welcome FC Nurnberg (GOLTV, 11:30 a.m.). Geoff Cameron and Maurice Edu suit up for Stoke City for the tilt against Sunderland (FOX Soccer 5:30 pm - delay). South of the border, Michael Orozco Fiscal and San Luis face Queretaro (UNIVISION DEPORTES, 5:55 p.m.), then later Herculez Gomez - who scored the game-winner in CONCACAF Champions League group finale against Toronto - and Santos Laguna play Monterrey (TELEFUTURA, 7:30 p.m.). Jose Torres and Pachuca take on Tigres (UNIVISION DEPORTES, 7:55 pm).
Sunday's big tilt is the Liverpool derby, when Tim Howard and Everton host Liverpool (ESPN2, 9:25 a.m.), the Toffees off to a fansastic start holding fourth in the Premier League table.
Clint Dempsey and Tottenham Hotspur head to Southampton following a 1-1 draw against Maribor in the Europa League this past Thursday (FOX Soccer Plus, 11 a.m.).
