Academy Players of the Week for the Week of Nov. 2

U-15/16 Performer of the Week: George Fradenburg
Club: Birmingham United

George Fradenburg led his team to a 5-0 victory over visiting Miami FC Kendall on Saturday, scoring four goals on the day. Fradenburg now has 10 goals in 12 games this season and is listed among the top ten goal scorers in the Academy Program among active teams. Birmingham United is currently tied for 1st place in the Southeast division of the South Conference with a 6-1-3 record. They will be looking to overtake the other top team, South Carolina United FC, during a home stand in November against Atlanta Fire United and Weston FC before traveling to the Winter Showcase and competing against Internationals, Ohio Elite SA and Oakwood SC.

U-17/18 Performer of the Week: Austin Bravo
Club: California Development Academy

Austin Bravo scored the deciding goal during the 89th minute of a thrilling 2-1 win over Chivas USA on Saturday. The game winning strike brings his total to 3 goals scored in 4 games played this season. CDA is in its inaugural Academy season and will take a 2-2-1 record on the road in November when they face Washington Premier FC and Crossfire Premier for challenging divisional matchups before heading to the Winter Showcase to take on Derby County Wolves, Ohio Elite SA and Charlotte Soccer Academy.
