Busch, Parkhurst Added to U.S. Roster for CONCACAF Gold Cup Semifinal

Defender Michael Parkhurst has rejoined the U.S. Men’s National Team ahead of its semifinal matchup against Honduras in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Additionally, Chicago Fire goalkeeper Jon Busch has been called in to replace Luis Robles, who has rejoined FC Kaiserslauten ahead of the Bundesliga season.

Parkhurst, the FC Nordsjaelland-based defender, appeared in the USA's group games against Honduras and Haiti before returning to Denmark to start the league season.

Busch has been part of the official 23-man Gold Cup roster from the beginning, but remained with the Fire until needed. Busch, the 2008 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year, has one cap to his credit.

The two changes to the roster leave the number of players available for selection by U.S. head coach Bob Bradley to 19.
