Feilhaber Called in for Match against Honduras in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 6, 2009) - U.S. Men's National Team head coach Bob Bradley has called in Benny Feilhaber for the CONCACAF Gold Cup match against Honduras on Wednesday, July 8 at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C.

One of seven roster additions following CONCACAF's extension of the U.S. pool to 30 players, Feilhaber made appearances in all five of the USA's matches during their second place run in the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, including a start in the final against Brazil.

Feilhaber arrived into D.C. on Sunday night and will take part in Monday's training session.  At this point, no other additions have been made for Wednesday's match.

Kickoff for the June 8 match against Honduras is set for 9 p.m. ET, and the match will be broadcast live on FSC, Telefutura, and the Futbol de Primera Radio Networks.  The U.S. closes out group play against Haiti on June 11 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.

The U.S. opened Group B action in the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup with a 4-0 win against Grenada on July 4 in Seattle.
