U.S. Under-20s Top USF, 2-1, to Remain Undefeated in 2002

The U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team extended its unbeaten run in 2002, with a 2-1 comeback win against the University of San Francisco on Tuesday at the ARCO Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif.  With the win, the Under-20s record extends to 6-0-2 in 2002.  

The University of Washington’s Brett Wiesner scored both goals for the U.S. in the second half.The USF Dons went ahead in the 61st minute, but Wiesner scored in the 64th minute and then tallied the gamewinner in the 74th minute.


The U.S. is in the midst of a training camp that includes two other matches.  The Under-20s travel to Los Angeles to the face the Galaxy on April 24, and then face the U.S. Under-18 MNT on April 28.
