U.S. Soccer Welcomes Five Organizations Granted Membership at Annual General Meeting

CHICAGO (Monday, July 23, 2001) - At U.S. Soccer's 85th Annual General Meeting this weekend in Atlanta, five new members were granted membership to the U.S. Soccer Federation, including the Amateur Soccer Association of Wyoming (as an Amateur State Association) and Soccer Rhode Island (as a Youth State Association). In addition to those two, the National Association of Competitive Soccer Clubs was granted membership as a National Affiliate, while the United States Specialty Sports Association joins U.S. Soccer as an Other Affiliate. The Dwarf Athletic Association of America was granted status as a Disabled Service Organization.
