Busy Schedule for U.S. National Teams in Full Swing This Weekend
CHICAGO (June 15, 2007) – Quite literally the busiest month in U.S. Soccer history, is in full swing as the non-stop summer schedules for the U.S. Men’s, Women’s and Youth National Teams begin to ratchet up this weekend with games, training camps and a World Cup roster release.
On Saturday, the U.S. Men’s National Team will continue its quest to defend their CONCACAF Gold Cup title when they face off against Panama in the tournament quarterfinals just three hours before the U.S. Women’s National Team faces China in Cleveland as they officially kick-off their Send-Off Series in advance of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team is also active this week, with head coach Thomas Rongen announcing his final FIFA U-20 World Cup roster on Friday as the team assembles in New Jersey for the final preparation camp in advance of Canada 2007.

The MNT will kick things off with their Gold Cup quarterfinal match against Panama at 4 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., live on Fox Soccer Channel and Univision. Directly after the MNT match, fans can get online and go to ussoccer.com to catch the MatchACCESS broadcast of the WNT’s match against China at 7 p.m. ET at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
