CHICAGO (March 5, 2012) – More than 13,000 tickets have been sold for the U.S. Men’s National Team game against Scotland in Jacksonville, Fla. The teams will face off at 8 p.m. ET on May 26 at EverBank Field.

Tickets starting at $22 are on sale at ussoccer.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at all Ticketmaster ticket centers throughout the Jacksonville area (including many Walmart stores). Groups of 20 or more can obtain an order form at ussoccer.com or call 312-528-1290.

The game against Scotland will be the first match for the USA in Jacksonville in more than a decade. On Feb. 6, 1999, the U.S. Men recorded one of the biggest upsets in their history, defeating defending European Champion Germany 3-0.

This will be the first meeting with Scotland on American soil in almost 14 years, with the U.S. holding a 1-3-2 record in the series. The teams last met on U.S. soil in the USA’s final preparation match before the 1998 FIFA World Cup, playing to a scoreless draw on May 30, 1998, in Washington, D.C.

The most recent match between the sides was a 1-1 tie in Glasgow on Nov. 12, 2005.

Following the Scotland game, the U.S. will play Brazil and Canada before returning to Florida to open the Semifinal Round of FIFA World Cup Qualifying against first-time opponent Antigua & Barbuda. That match will take place on June 8 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
