Speas Replaces McLoughlin for Argentina Trip

CHICAGO (Nov. 19, 2007) -- Ben Speas has been called into the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team training camp in Argentina, replacing fellow forward Ellis McLoughlin.

A U.S. Soccer Residency product and University of Washington freshman, McLoughlin will stay with the Huskies as they compete in the NCAA Championship Tournament. Washington, one of the 48 teams selected for the tournament, is set to face Portland in the first round, the NCAA announced Monday evening. McLoughlin is third on the team with nine points, in the form of three goals and three assists after joining the team late following the FIFA Under-17 World Cup.
