Draw for FIFA World Youth Championship Set for April 26 in Argentina
CHICAGO (Monday, April 16, 2001) - The U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team will learn their opponents in this summer's 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship when the tournament's Final Draw takes place in Buenos Aires, Argentina on April 26. The U.S. will be represented in Argentina by head coach Wolfgang Suhnholz. A complete update of the early evening draw will by available at www.us-soccer.com immediately following the event on April 26. Suhnholz and his impressive U-20 squad is currently in the midst of a 14-day training camp at the ARCO OTC in Chula Vista, Calif. In addition to an exhibition match against the Los Angeles Galaxy (a 4-1 loss for the U-20s on April 11), the team has scheduled training matches against UCLA on April 17, the University of San Diego on April 19 and UC Irvine on April 21.
