U.S. Soccer National ‘B’ License Course to Take Place Nov. 3-11 in Sunrise, Fla.


CHICAGO (Aug. 20, 2012) — U.S. Soccer’s Coaching Department will conduct a National “B” License Course in Sunrise, Fla., from Nov. 3-11. Registration will open on Wednesday, Aug. 22, after a pre-registration period for active members of CoachesNet, U.S. Soccer’s official coaches club. Current CoachesNet members will have the first opportunity to register for a fall course beginning today.

Registration for January 2013 “A”, “B” and “C” courses will be available in early September. For additional details, please visit the National License Course schedule page in the Coaches section of ussoccer.com.

Participants at U.S. Soccer’s National Coaching Schools will have an opportunity to earn a nationally recognized license from U.S. Soccer, a member of Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

Coaches will interact with the nation’s top-level instructors, including current and former national team, professional and international coaches. The licensing programs are focused on teaching soccer coaches up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge to provide coaches with the ability to improve the everyday training environment for elite players and help them fulfill their potential as international, professional, collegiate or youth soccer players.

Registration opens today for CoachesNet members and opens on Aug. 22 for all eligible coaches. As always, space is limited for these select courses. More information on U.S. Soccer National Coaching Schools is available at ussoccer.com.
