BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (Oct. 23, 2010) – The U.S. Paralympic National Team surged to a 8-4 victory against neighbors Mexico in their third match at the 2010 Copa America in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The U.S. rebounded well after losing their second match of the tournament to Brazil and used a flurry of four straight goals on either side of half time to take control of the match.

With the win, the USA's hopes for qualifying for the 2011 CPISRA World Championships in London, but they face a stern test in Argentina on home soil in their next match on Oct. 24.
