FOX Soccer Will Show Both USA vs. Ireland Matches on Fan Tribute Tour, Presented by Panasonic; Also Airing Game in Portland on Nov. 28 and in Houston vs. China on Dec. 12

CHICAGO (Nov. 12, 2012) – FOX Soccer has added the U.S. Women’s National Team against the Republic of Ireland match on Dec. 1 from the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., to its broadcast schedule. The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. MT with the pre-game show set to begin at 7 p.m. MT.

FOX Soccer will also air the first match of the two-game series against Ireland, which are the sixth and seventh matches of the 10-game Fan Tribute Tour, presented by Panasonic. That match from JELD-WEN Field in Portland, Ore., on Nov. 28 will kick off at 7 p.m. PT with the pre-game show set to begin at 6:30 p.m. PT.

FOX Soccer has also added the ninth match of the Fan Tribute Tour to its broadcast schedule and will air the USA vs. China PR clash from BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston on Dec. 12. That game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. CT with the pre-game show starting at 7 p.m. CT.

Tickets for the Nov. 28 match in Portland are currently on sale through ussoccer.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at all Ticketmaster ticket centers throughout the Portland area (including Fred Meyer and Walmart stores). Tickets are also available at the JELD-WEN Field box office (open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.).

Tickets for the Dec. 1 match in Arizona are on sale through ussoccer.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at all Ticketmaster ticket centers throughout metropolitan Phoenix (including Fry’s Marketplace), as well as the University of Phoenix Stadium ticket office (open Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.).

Tickets for the game in Houston go on sale to the general public Friday, Nov. 16, at 10 a.m. CT through ussoccer.com, by calling 1-888-929-7849, and at the BBVA Compass Stadium ticket office (open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

The USA is 8-0-0 all-time against Ireland, with its most recent meeting resulting in a 2-0 win on Sept. 20, 2008, at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill. Five of the USA’s previous matches against Ireland came on tours after winning Olympic gold medals – two games in 2004 and three in 2008. During the second match in 2004 played in Houston, the two teams were tied 0-0 at halftime before Abby Wambach scored five consecutive goals in the second half to tie a U.S. record for most goals in a game as the USA won 5-0.
