U.S. Soccer Foundation Passback Days at Every MLS Stadium This Season

CHICAGO (Monday, March 19, 2001) - The U.S. Soccer Foundation and MLS have joined forces to help enrich lives across the country by rolling out the Passback Program at every MLS stadium in 2001. Passback, which debuted in limited form last year, is a program through which soccer fans and teams donate used equipment on a designated date at their local MLS stadium, and the gear is then redistributed to deserving soccer groups in the community. A year ago, nearly $7,000 worth of soccer equipment, from balls to shoes to uniforms, was collected. The team contributing the most equipment will receive a set of Kwik Goals.
