U.S. U-20 WNT Falls to Atlanta Beat 2-0 to Finish Training Camp in Florida
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (March 19, 2010) – The U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team completed its schedule of matches at its training camp Florida with a 2-0 loss to the Atlanta Beat of WPS. Swiss star Ramona Bachmann scored both goals for the expansion Beat, one just two minutes into the game and the other just before halftime.
The U.S. U-20s, who are preparing for the 2010 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Germany this summer, also defeated the University of Florida, 3-0, and tied the Boston Breakers, 2-2, during the training camp.
The U.S. U-20s will come together next for a training camp at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. in mid-April.
