On the game against El Salvador:
“Overall I’m happy with the personality and determination that the players showed on the field. It’s a good win for us. We’re in the World Cup.  We came here to prove what we can accomplish in three games and we made it to the World Cup. Now we’re one of the four top teams and tomorrow we’ll think about what’s next.”

On how he will motivate the team for the semifinals:
“I don’t think I need to motivate them because they’re very motivated. The kids are strong mentally and physically. We have a good roster and now everyone has the chance to prove why they’re on the national team. We’re going to be okay. We’re going to continue playing and we have good motivation right now.”

On how it feels to qualify for the World Cup:
“It’s amazing. I can’t even describe it, it’s just the greatest feeling ever. It was a crazy game, I was anxious and it took us a while to get into our game. Both teams were good tonight but we got the win and we’re really happy about it.”

“It’s the best feeling. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted, everything the team’s wanted. Ever since I was little I’ve wanted to go to a World Cup and especially this one because it’s in Mexico. It’s the best feeling in the world.”
