CHICAGO (Nov. 2, 2013) – The U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team earned a 2-0 win against the Crossfire Premier U-15/16 Development Academy team before losing 3-0 to the Real Salt Lake AZ U-15/16 Academy team in a two-match game day on Saturday, Nov. 2. The U.S. U-15s recorded a 2-1-1 record in four friendly matches during the nine-day training camp at U.S. Soccer’s National Training Center in Carson, Calif.

In Saturday’s first match that pitted the U.S. U-15s against Crossfire Premier U-16s of the Development Academy’s Northwest Division, Luis Arreola handed the USA a 1-0 advantage in the 20th minute from an assist by Jesus Nunez. Nunez scored two goals in a match against the Chivas USA U-15s earlier in the week.

Ernesto Espinoza struck the second goal for the USA against Crossfire Premier off an assist by Wilterlynd Inalien in the 58th minute to secure the final score line.

With 30 players called in for the U.S. U-15 camp, U.S. head coach Hugo Perez fielded a new set of players for Saturday’s second match against the Real Salt Lake U-15/16s, who won the match 3-0 on goals in the 26th, 58th and 78th minutes.
