U.S. Soccer and The Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association to Offer National "C" Coaching License Course in Spanish
CHICAGO (Jan. 14, 2009) – The U.S. Soccer Federation Coaching Department, in conjunction with the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association, will offer a National “C” License Course from March 18-22 and 26-29, conducted in Spanish.
The nine-day course will take place at Flushing Meadows Corona Park Sports complex in Corona, Queens. U.S. Soccer National Instructors Juan Carlos Michia, Rene Miramontes, Roberto Lopez and Alfonso Mondelo will guide participants through 90 hours of class time.
Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) will coordinate the Spanish-language “C” License Course. In order to be eligible for a National “C” License, interested candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have a National “D” License for at least one year, or have been a professional player and a professional or amateur coach for at least three years. Copies of documents proving playing and coaching experience, including contracts, certificates and any other official documentation, will be required along with a completed application.
